Discover your artistic talents under the guidance of expert instructors and meet passionate young artists from around the world.
Interlochen Online’s elementary programs are designed to help your student explore and discover the arts. For two hours each week, they’ll engage in meaningful classes led by instructors who are experts in working with young artists.
Both programs run Jan. 11 through Feb. 6. Weekly schedules are:
- General Music Exploration: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m. EST
- Arts Mashup: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-7 p.m. EST
- General Music Exploration students will present an individual showcase/recital on the final Saturday afternoon
The General Music Exploration track provides a balanced exploration of several key aspects of musicianship, including music history, theory, improvisation and critical listening. Students will also learn to express themselves through singing and grow their skills as instrumentalists. Our music program also includes weekly 50-minute private lessons or personal coaching sessions.
The Arts Mashup track will introduce your student to the basics of acting, creative writing, creative movement, and visual arts in a supportive, nurturing setting.
